Welcome! My name is Maggie and this is my...5th blog (but, probably). I teach 8th grade English and absolutely love to read young adult (YA) literature. Back in college, I also used to love to write, but now, apart from writing assignments and PowerPoints, I'm a bit out of practice.
Why am I here and what am I doing? Less existentially, I'll be reviewing and writing about YA books. I'm always reading a YA book that I've gotten from the library or borrowed from a fellow teacher, so for me, my bookcase is infinite.
At the end of each review, I'll provide a star rating, who I might recommend the book to, whether or not the book offers a unique experience or understanding (boiled down to the word "diversity"), and other connected books.
Can't wait to get writing (I've already been reading, after all). Let's see how long I can keep this up!
